- Now rich the LTFS setup is really good for a lot of uses, being able to simply mount an LTO tape as a drive on the Mac or PC, drag files to it, drag files off of it, and earlier you made a good point that even with that functionality and something as simple as an Excel or Google spreadsheet, you could easily search the contents, take a screenshot of the folders that were there, something like that. - You can even just go to the file directory on your computer and select all the folders, copy that and paste that in, and the text will paste in, so you can take a top level view of what projects are on there so it's easy to search the database. - But like I said, right now on my shelf in my studio, I have about 350-360 tapes, and I have the same amount mirrored off-site at my house actually, so that if anything ever - Your wife loves you - Oh loves all the LTO tapes, uses them as coasters around the house.
