- Rob, I remember when we first started exploring DSLR video. We were working on a book together, called From Still To Motion, along with our friends, Jim and Matt, and when we were doing that, a big part of that video shoot was done in a small nightclub, low light situation. Back then, at sort of the dawn, you know, this was like the 5D, 5D Mark II I believe. - [Rob] Yeah, 5D original, and then 5D Mark II, yeah. - [Rich] We just couldn't get the performance out of there sometimes. You know, we couldn't change the lighting environment, and we had to make it work, and so there was times that we cheated. Now, let's talk first about what the rule is, and then we can talk about cheating. - Right, so there are three corners to the exposure triangle.
