- Thanks for joining me today for Scriptwriting for Nonfiction Videos. This is something I am really passionate about. I've worked my entire career in the nonfiction arena and I've written hundreds and hundreds of videos, some of them graphically-driven, some of them interview-based. Many of them are branded content. And so, I'm really excited to be here with you today to help you work through this important topic. Let's take a look at some of the topics that we're gonna cover today. The first one is how to define your project goals and outcomes. Then we'll talk about building story infrastructure, all of those important things like characters and setting and point of view and style. We're also gonna cover the idea of a narrative arc and how to create that for a nonfiction story. We're gonna talk about working with interview soundbites, something I know many of you are struggling to do all the time. And so, how can we really deal with that in a workflow that makes sense? We're gonna talk about scriptwriting tools and how to set up a useful script structure. Script-to-screen workflow, how to incorporate all those decision-makers and make the process work for you. So, I look forward to having you with me today as we tackle the subject of nonfiction scriptwriting for video.
