(light ambient music) - I'm Bill Dill, ASC cinematographer, and welcome to this course about cinematography and working on set. Throughout this course, you'll follow me through the entire process of shooting a scene in a narrative motion picture, starting with pre-production planning, blocking, lighting, rehearsing, and shooting of an entire scene. - And, action. (guitar rock music) - We'll review the cinematographer's relationship with the director, and each member of the production crew. We'll also help you avoid some common pitfalls that can happen in post. Make sure you check out the conclusion chapter for the final edited and color-graded scene. OK, let's make a movie.
