What you need to know
- If you're familiar with still-photography lighting, or how to set up three-point lighting, you'll have a great foundation for this course. While anyone can apply these practices, it's helpful to have a basic understanding of your camera system and terms like aperture, ISL, and focal light. And lighting terms like bounce, back, or edge lighting, key and fill. If you want to brush up, check out some of my friends courses on lighting and camera fundamentals, like Anthony Artis' Foundations of Video: Cameras and Shooting, or Ben Long, Foundations of Photography: Exposure.
