- Before we start the day, I might typically have a meeting with the first AD, to talk about the production elements that are going to be required for the shoot today and make sure everything's here. And also, if there's something I should be doing now to prepare for a scene that we'll be doing somewhere down the line in the schedule then maybe I should be working on that today. In other words, I always have to be working ahead of myself. I can't be starting on the day there's something that requires a couple of days of preparation to begin right at the moment when that it's needed. So, now I know today that Jason has a shot that he wants with the actress spinning her ring. Now, I can do that fairly quickly. Now this is something that I can do to really help the director. First shot off is an important metric on the production report and that's something that I can do that doesn't require a lot of work by anybody else on the crew except for just as a skeleton crew. - Small crew…
