Introduction to modified parameter controls

- Hi everyone, it's Ashley Kennedy back with another installment of Video Post Tips Weekly, the Post-production Tutorial Series from lynda.com. This week's topic is more than sliders and dials, accessing modified parameter controls. Now, when you're first starting out working with effects in various software, there are a whole lot of dials and sliders, value shuttles, key frames and other methods of changing parameter values. If you're doing very specific effects work, sometimes it's useful to be able to manipulate the parameters much more slowly with more control while other times, it's more desirable to take broader strokes. Fortunately, each software gives us some nice ways to really hone in on our effect adjustments in various ways. So, this week we're going to take a look at how to access our modified parameter controls in Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro 10, and Avid Media Composer.
