Using blend modes to correct overexposure in Final Cut Pro X

- Now that we've got our feet wet, working with Blend Modes in Premiere Pro, we're gonna take a look at some useful ways to use Blend Modes inside of Final Cut Pro 10 for similar overexposure issues. In the previous movie in Premiere, we went through two separate examples, one of a person's face, and another of a sky treatment. And in this movie, we're just gonna go through one example since the process is basically the same. So if you want more practice using Blend Modes on a overexposed shot of a person's face, check out the previous movie, and it's the same workflow with the same basic Blend Modes. Alright, so for now we've got a couple of shots here, and they're the same one actually. I've duplicated it. And, it's just this sky over the ocean and definitely washed out and needs some greater contrast and detail. We're also going to play with some color, to really change the mood of the shot.
