- [Instructor] If you have access to the library files, you can download them to your desktop, as I've done here. If you open the Inmate 14658 folder, you'll find the folder structure that we'll be working with. The most important folder will be the Library folder. Inside of it, you'll find the Inmate 14658 library. Double click on that library to open it. Once the library opens in Final Cut X, you'll find an event named Inmate 14658. If we scroll down that event, you'll find a folder structure that's based on the chapters of this course. Inside the folder will be the pertinent projects and media we'll be working on in that chapter. The footage we'll be working with is a scene from a short film I recently worked on. The scene is as it was prior to sending off to sound, which includes some Final Cut Pro audio filters that were applied to create a marginal sound mix for directorial review in the edit suite. I've intentionally left those filters in place, so that you can see what happens to them in the round-trip process. And although we'll be working with a section of a narrative short film, these techniques can be applied to any type of project you're working on.
