Welcome

- Now this is a technique I came up with myself. These cameras are meant to be back to back, shooting to hemispherical videos that go together to make a complete spherical immersive video. All I've done is turn them both forward so they both see the same direction. It's not 360. We don't see what's behind the cameras. It's 180. We see a 3D image of what's in front of the cameras. And the reason it works in 3D is because of the two cameras. You and I, and all animals that have two eyes, see 3D because this eye gets a slightly different view than this eye. And if you could take two videos from the same distance apart as your two eyes and then show one to this eye and one to this eye, you will get the illusion of 3D. Now this wasn't designed like this, I came up with it myself. All I did was drill two holes in a piece of wood and mount the two cameras this far apart. After I perfected that, I invented this little mount that you can get on my website: rocketpictures.net/3D to mount it on a tripod or a Selfie-Stick or a monopod or anything else you like. As I said, shooting with this is now just like shooting with a normal Pixpro setup except you don't have to worry about what's behind the camera. The shooting is pretty straight-forward and as I said, you can get most of the information from the other course. But I will take two or three shots with this camera here around the Lynda.com campus so we have a little something to work with in the editing room. Alright, let's get to it.
