Arranging the game elements

- As with all of the projects in this course we will be utilizing a number of assets that have already been created with Flash Professional itself. In previous projects, we have animated these assets in different ways. In this project, we'll be controlling these assets in a game-based environment targeting HTML5 Canvas. So the first thing we'll do is create a new HTML5 Canvas document type. Let's make some adjustments in the properties inspector. We'll create the stage at 800 by 500 and we'll change the stage background color to black. Now we'll go ahead and save this project. So File, Save, and within the empty project folder on our desktop, we'll call this WebGame.fla and save. Alright, let's open up our assets pool. So we'll go to File, Import, Open External Library and here we can go ahead and find our exercise files and choose completed assets. One of the nice things about working in this way with two libraries open is that we can drag things from one library to the other. So…
