If you're a developer, choosing among the cross-platform frameworks can be difficult as well. You might consider the following categories. The learning curve, the amount of knowledge of native platforms needed, development tools, and how possible it is to maintain a single code base. Of course, all this presumes a clean slate, which may not be the situation you find yourself in. Any expertise your team possesses will almost certainly play a larger role than any of my categories.
