Resize columns
- [Instructor] So we've added our table and we've placed content in the cells in the table, and obviously we have some work to do. When we decided we would insert a table that had two columns, you can see the two columns are of equal width, and most times the content you type into those columns is not going to fit the way you want. So, we need to know how to adjust the column widths. And all we need to do to change column widths is to click anywhere in the column we want to adjust. So, let's start with the quantity column. We'll just click in any one of those cells. Next we'll go up to the Table menu. From here we can Resize Columns. Give it a click. Now there are a number of different ways to resize the column. With To Width selected we get to type in the exact width that we want in inches. We're gonnssee it appear up here on the ruler. You could also set column widths by scaling. If we want this to be maybe 10% of the table and this to be 90%, we could set up scaling. But, I think…
