Lighting effects for the finishing touch on the face
- [Instructor] And you may be able to guess how I'm going to start this last step. That's right, I'm going to use my stock images to color pick skin tones. I did the same as before, using the eyedropper tool to select my base, and my shade, and my highlight. I'll fill her face in with my base and lock the transparency. It doesn't matter which brush you use, but I'm just going to use one of these regular basic brushes. You can lock transparency under the Layer Actions menu. I'm going to erase the whites for her eyes before I go any further. Now I'm going to fill in with my shade color. I'm going to use the same brush and then I'm going to switch to the pencil to gently lighten and darken the face where I think it looks best. I'm choosing a very easy light source, something easy to render and not complicated. I'm going to do the same thing with my light color and then come back in and shade it with my pencil brush so…
