Lighting effects for the finishing touch on garment and gloves
- [Instructor] I'm going to continue selecting the colors from our stock photographs because I really like the options. Keep in mind, not every case will work this way. You should use the colors that work best for your character. Select the Eyedropper tool and move it over to the girl and the stock photo for our base color from her tunic. I'm going to make a new layer. I'm going to place it underneath my line art but above my original sketch. If you need to rearrange, remember you can press and hold to reorder the layers. Now, I want to fill in her tunic completely with this base color. And I'm going to use the hard round size flow brush under the basic category but any of these will do. I imagine her gloves are made out of the same material, so as I'm working, I'm going to fill them in too. For shading, I'm going to lock the transparency of the layer once it's totally filled in. That lets me be a little bit lazy. Remember…
