2D contour with custom tabs
- [Man] Now that we have our set up created for this mid plate we're ready to create our operations and in this part we're only going to need one. It is actually going to be that same contour that we used across the base plate end plate on the last step to run all the way around the part and cut it out. But rather than copy from another operation, I'm going to start a fresh one so we can look at some new settings related to the tabs. I'm going to go to the 2D dropdown and select 2D Contour and just like before, we'll work through our tabs to create this operation. We're already using the quarter inch in mil and that's fine. We'll go ahead and select the geometry we want to cut which is the bottom profile of this entire part and then the part we really want to look at here are the tabs.
