- [Instructor] All right welcome to Fusion 360 tips, tricks, and techniques. Today we are going to discover sketching in 3D in Fusion 360. The key in 3D sketching is heading out to your name, left click here, selecting preferences, now under general, design, make sure that allow 3D sketching of lines and splines, is enabled. Selecting okay, my intent here is to utilize our sweep command, so here's a circle sketched on our Y, Z, plane, let's grab our line command, hitting L on my keyboard and let's sketch on our X, Z, plane, so selecting this plane, left click here. Recall that we enabled 3D sketching on our preferences in addition, on our sketch palette, just to make sure also enable 3D sketch here. Moving forward notice we are on the front view, now the best view for creating 3D sketches is heading out to our home view, so selecting this tiny house, I'm going to zoom out, let's now place our first point, so…
