- [Instructor] Hi, in this lesson, we will discover appearance in Fusion 360. Before we begin, let's remove some of the unnecessary bodies in our model. Right-click, selecting Remove. And one of the techniques to produce a good quality render is to round off sharp edges in our model. So let's zoom in on our protruding text. I'm going to hit F for filet. Zooming out and creating a window selection to select all those text. Let's key in .1 for the radius. Let's inspect, filet applied. In order for us to change the appearance of our model, we can simply head to Modify and select Appearance. In addition, the Appearance dialog box can also be accessed in Patch, Sheet Metal, and of course, Render. By default, the initial material of our bodies is still satin. Let's take note that physical material affects engineering properties. Notice our bodies has the property of steel and appearance affects the colors of bodies, components, and faces.
