- [Instructor] Okay, now we're finally ready … to start actually assembling our Janssen linkage. … So the first thing I want to do is take … this little tiny strip right here … and assemble it with this pin attached to that pin. … And I do that up here by saying joint. … This one could be a little hard to follow. … So note, when I'm making these choices, … I'm always looking at either using the top or the bottom … of a particular component cylinder as the reference point. … So we're going to join it up to this pin over here. … Okay, so I will select the top … and then come over to the pin and select the top there. … And when I do so, the piece actually flies across … and then does that little wiggling motion … to try and figure out what it's doing. … The type of motion is not rigid, it's revolute … and all of the different pieces that we're going to add here … will be revolute. … So you can see that thing's spinning nicely around … and I'll hit okay. … All right, so now we'll put these things in one at a time. …
