- [Instructor] To make sure we're all on the same page with terminology I want to identify three key areas that I'll be referring to throughout this course. So the first is just the general space that we're working in. And this is known as the canvas. To the upper left of the canvas, you'll see what's called the browser. And so the browser here which I can collapse and expand, shows us this organizational structure that kind of reminds me of Photoshop layers. So here underneath Linkage Version One I can see document settings. And at the moment our units are the only thing that's in place, which we can change right here. We also have named views. So for example, if you start having a really complex object and you're constantly approaching it from a funky angle, you can actually save out that view instead of having to constantly rotate the view cube to get exactly the perspective you want.
