Clone an existing study
- [Instructor] Engineering is seeking constant improvement. Perhaps we can come up with a better design if we tried another study, or maybe our design criteria has changed, or perhaps we want to see if this model can be modified slightly to support more weight. Rather than modifying everything that we already have, we can clone a study to create a second study in the context of the same file using all the same geometry, using all the same constraints, but maybe changing the load. I'll begin by right-clicking on the existing study and selecting Clone Study. After a moment, we now have Study Two. If we want, we can rename this. And we can go into the Study settings here or under the pull-down Study settings here and perhaps change the synthesis resolution. So as the generative design is resolved, is more coarse or more fine and we could, of course, come into the Loads information. In some cases though, you might have a lot of loads and a lot of constraints that you want to effect…
