Component reference between two faces

- [Instructor] Hi everyone and welcome to another Fusion 360 tips, tricks, and techniques. In this assembly, my intent here is to add a revolute joint between our linked and base, making the link exactly at the middle. Let me move our link on the side. Next, let's grab our joint under Assemble, selecting Capture Position. Let's zoom in to our linked. I'm going to hold control and select this joint origin. Next, our intent is to locate a joint origin or a component reference here at the middle. And to do that, it's simply right-clicking and select between two faces. So selecting this face and this face. Hovering over this face or the other face, hold the control and selecting this component reference or a joint origin. And from here, under motion type we can now select revolute. And that's how we can add a component reference or joint origin in the middle or between two faces. See you next week for another Fusion 360…
