- [Instructor] Now that we've completed the internal operations of cutting this part out, we have one last step, and that's to run the contour around to cut this part out of the stock. If you remember, we've already done this once with the base plate. And we'll actually do it a couple of more times with the next couple parts. There is a shortcut we can use. Since we've already configured an operation to do exactly what we want in the base plate, we can copy that operation from one setup to the next to save time. You'll see here with the 2D contour selected in the base plate, I see three tool paths with triangular angles from the tabs. And that's exactly what we want on this operation. We just want it to be looking in a different coordinate system when it runs. To do that, we can right-click on the 2D Contour under the base plate and select Copy. And then right-click on the end plate and select Paste. By doing that…
