- [Instructor] Let's discover the most common sketch-based Create tool, which is Extrude. Now, for Extrude, all we need is a sketch profile, which is a closed loop. Let's set up and select Extrude. Prompted to select a sketch profile, or planar face. Let's select this I profile. Left-click, and move our arrow to the right. Giving this a depth. And, because we are moving backwards, a negative symbol can be seen on our input box. Let's give -50, to be exact. In addition, if needed, we can apply a taper angle. I'm going to key in five, and hit Tab. So, notice the effect of taper, when I revert back and key in zero, hitting Tab, and, finally, hit OK. Moving forward, let's discover Revolve. So, basically Revolve requires a sketch profile, or planar face. And, Revolve around a selected axis. And, instead of deleting our Extrude feature, I will left-click and select our marker.
