Creating a dimple

Creating a dimple

- [Instructor] Hi everyone, and welcome to another Fusion 360 tips, tricks and techniques. I have here a PCB, to be placed on the surface of our sheet metal casing. My intent here is to create a dimple so that our operators in the factory will not be confused on how to attach this PCB into our casing. With that in mind, our design engineering managers suggested to us to add a dimple. In addition, the dimple serves as a guide to align our PCB into our bottom sheet metal casing. Let's get started. We have here a sketch of the target diameter of our dimple. With this sketch on the surface of our sheet metal, I'm going to hit E four extrude and punch a hole into our sheet metal. Let me change the extent to object which will be up to the other side, selecting okay. Next, I'm going to reuse this circular profile which has a diameter of two millimeters.
