Creating a loft in the Patch workspace

- [Instructor] I would like our ellipse to be copied on this plane. So what I could do, let's select our construction plane, right click and select create sketch. Zooming in, next I'm going to hit P, the shortcut for project. Prompted to select a geometry, let's select this ellipse, left click. So it turned into purple, meaning it's already projected, and I'm going to hit okay. Next let's grab our offset tool. I'm going to head to this dropdown and select offset taking note of the shortcut key, which is O. I'm going to select this newly projected ellipse. Let's pull this slider down, and I'm going to key in negative five, hitting enter. And let's hit stop sketch. Going to home view, let's now change our workspace to patch. Going here to change your workspace, selecting patch. Next let's grab our X Y plane. Left click this one, right click and select create sketch. Our intent here is to grab our spline tool and then create a spline here, moving to sketch and grabbing our spline, but we…
