Creating a part model

- [Instructor] Parametric solid models are a collection of sketched features like extruded and revolved profiles and placed features like holes and fillers. Let's review some of these tools by completing a design that's already been started. In Fusion 360, I have the beginning of my spanner design. In the timeline, you'll see we have three sketches and you can see sketches are visible on the model as well. We'll begin by creating an extrusion to create an access port for a socket wrench. I'll start the extrude tool and select the profile. Having the profile I'll go all the way through the model. I'd like to create another access port for the socket but at a different angle. So I'll return and turn my sketch back on, then come under the Construction pull-down and create a work axis. Based on the center point of the sketch, normal to the face, so that I can create a circular pattern of the original extrusion, make sure my pattern type is set to feature and select the extrusion from the…
