Creating slots for the support bars

- [Instructor] We'll add three support bars to this design to help with structural integrity. The first support bar will hold the front of the laptop. Let's create another sketch on the inside of the side panel. We'll sketch a U-shaped slot at the top once again using the Line command. As you sketch this out, pay attention to the automatic constraints. We'll want to make sure each vertical line is parallel to the left edge. We can then apply the plywood thickness dimension to the bottom line. The depth of this slot will be three quarters of an inch so we can add an additional dimension to either vertical line. Lastly, we'll add a half-inch dimension from the left line to the front edge. We don't want this area to be smaller or this notch may break off. We can now extrude cut this. However, this time we'll use the To Object Extent Type. This allows us to select the opposite side of the panel. The extrude cut will always…
