Cross-section sketches and splines for path of sweep
- Now that we've gone ahead and created a construction plane, we have a good basis to start our sketch, to make the cross section of the down tube that we're then going to sweep along that spline. So let's go ahead and get started. We're going to go to the sketch tool. We're going to select that construction plane that we created. Once we create that sketch, it uses our zero zero point as the intersection of that line and the sketch. So we're going to go ahead and turn off the original sketch that we had, just so it cleans up our workspace. We're then going to go ahead and create a line just down the center as a center point. Make that 20 millimeters. We're then going to create another line and we're going to go down from the center. Let's go 30. We're then going to create another line that's offset from this top line and let's go 15 millimeters. Now, this is just to give us a basis of the length of our tube cross…
