Customizing a tool

- [Instructor] Now that we have our tools in our local library, we can take a minute and customize those or adjust them. Because we were shopping from samples, they might not all be exactly correct for our specific tool that we have in hand. That's okay though, because you can adjust those. For example, if you look at this list, the overall length is not the same on all three of these, but in my shop, it is. So even though I shopped for the sample and I got close, I may need to make some adjustments. To do that, we can select the specific tool, and then right click and select edit. This is going to allow you to work through a number of different things. You can rename the tool, you can set just about everything there is for the length and size of the cutter itself, you can select the holder.
