- Now that we've finished off the base. Lets take a look at creating the first link of our robotic arm that will be connecting to the base. So we going to start with a new sketch on my top plane here. Just going to sketch a circle, let's say 140 millimeters so it matches up with my face. Finish off that sketch, and I will extrude this up let's say 10 millimeters or so. Now again I want to make use of an offset on this bottom face here. So I create another new sketch. Use the offset tools on my outer edge. And I want it to again match up, so I want that five millimeters. And I want to flip it or make sure it's going the right direction there. And once am happy with that sketch, say okay. Finish it off, and again extrude that out slightly. I'm going to extrude that offset. I believe it was three millimeters so it will match up nicely with the base component we just created. So now on this link one, let's say I also wanted…
