Designing Link6
- [Instructor] Let's now create link six, our final component of our robotic arm. So start by creating a sketch on the front plane. Again, just a simple circle at my origin point. Give a dimension of 40 let's say. And I'll extrude this out a total of, let's say, 15 millimeters. I'm happy with that. Hit OK. Finish it off. And next, I'll create another sketch on this face here. Create a new sketch, again a circle at the origin point. Diameter, let's say 20 millimeters and then I want to cut this away. So I'll cut this away. Let's say five millimeters. Make sure it's a cut. It's looking okay. Finish this off. And that looks okay to me. And next, let's say I want to throw on a number of threaded or tapped holes onto this surface here. So I can use the hole command but I'm going to start with creating a sketch and give a sketch point on this surface to better define its location. So I'm going to sketch a point…
