- After converting, and editing the design. It's best to run another analysis on it. Because the Generative Design Process is based on simulation, and requires that you put loads and constraints on the model. To generate the form, those loads and constraints are automatically brought forward into the design that's been exported from that generative design workspace. So switching to the Simulation Workspace. I'll get a notice that shows it understands how the model was created, and asking if I want to bring the set up information into a Static Stress Study. I'll select Yes. I can see in the browser our loads and constraints are already in place. I can see the Pre-check is already green. So I'll tell it to solve. In this case because it's a Static Stress Simulation, I can run the study locally. When it's done we can see the Minimum Safety Factor, with the modifications I made, is now up to 8.73.
