- [Instructor] Although this is not a plastic design course, let's assume our model is a plastic, and for our case to eject properly without defects from the mold, we're going to apply a draft. Let's head to our bodies folder. We now have two bodies that were split. Let's head back in time before the split was made. To do that we can grab our timeline marker, left click and hold, and place this before the split command. My intent here is to have a single draft feature. If we allow the split to be made and then add the draft, we will be forced to add two draft features here. Let's move back our marker. Hitting S for our shortcuts and typing DR, selecting draft. Our target plane is our mid plane. Making sure tangent chain is enabled for the faces. Let's select this face. Holding control and this face. Next, let's change our direction to two side. Change the first direction to positive five, and same with the second direction to be five as well. Finally hitting OK. Heading to home view…
