Finding the frequency response of a component

- [Instructor] The materials the component is made out of and the stresses that are applied to it can make it susceptible to certain types of vibration. In this model, we have a bracket that's going to be holding a small, high RPM motor. We've done a stress analysis on it, and the bracket is strong enough. Now, let's clone this study and modify the new study using settings to be a model frequencies analysis. While we're in the settings, we'll check the number of modes, we'll leave that at eight. We can set the mesh value. Let's use a smaller percentage of the model size to be a little more accurate. And for this exercise, we'll leave the adaptive mesh refinement off. By cloning the study, we've kept all of the materials, constraints, and loads the same. Let's take a look at the pre-check, and the pre-check is informing us that we're currently not using the loads that are applied. So let's go ahead and do that. We'll…
