- [Tutor] Now we're finally ready to add our last finishing path. And we're going to use a new milling strategy that we haven't covered yet called Scallop. So scallop basically creates a spiral pattern based off of your machining boundary, starting from the outside of that machining boundary and spiraling inward until it gets to the center of that machining boundary. And I found that this is the best strategy to capture all the detail in a smooth topography site model. So let's check it out. I'm going to click on it. And the first thing that we want to change here is the tool. We're not going to be using our half inch ball and mill anymore. I'm just going to go to select and in the tool library I provided for you, I want you to select the one 16th inch ball and mill, but before we move forward, I want to point out a few things about this tool.
