- [Instructor] Okay, enough about the user interface and changing settings, let's finally get to making a part. And the part we're going to begin with is going to be the battery. Now the battery is relatively a simple part to make. It only requires creating a sketch of a rectangle and then extruding it, but it follows the normal procedure we're going to use to create any part, and that involves starting with a 2D sketch and then extruding it to turn it into a 3D shape. So let's go ahead and jump right in. We'll start by going to our sketch menu, so we're going to click on sketch, and then down to create sketch. Once we do that, the origin pops in, and if we're new to three design, we're going to have to get used to this idea of working in a 3D environment and telling Fusion what plane we want to use.
