- [Instructor] Now, one of the really useful tools about using software like Ansys Composite PrePost is that we can actually make patterns out of all those lamps that we just did. So we built some of these layups and here's an example of one that we did and this is just a small piece that goes near the down tube. Now this is made on a curve here. So you can kind of see you get it's a nice little curve and there's a little, it's a funny little shape on the bottom. This is actually, it's pretty easy to lay but it's not always really easy to figure out exactly what shape you need. And when you start getting into more complex areas, it can get very complicated making patterns for this stuff. Now, since we've gone ahead and actually mashed the entire surface and we've already gone ahead and built up all our layups, Ansys has a really cool tool to actually take that as a pattern and flatten it so that we can actually cut it on our…
