Importing into Fusion
- [Instructor] Now that we have a little background in C and C concepts, we can start building our site model. We're not going to build our site model out of thin air though. Any good model builder has some site context information to build up a digital model for fabrication. This usually comes from some civil drawings in some CAD format. For this course I provide you with all the CAD information and we're going to import it in this lesson. So to get started we're going to use the insert tab right here and if I click on this I'm going to select insert DXF here and first asks us which plane we want to import to and this is going to be our top view. So I'm just going to click on this icon and you're going to want to navigate to your exercise files, chapter two design and you're going to find these dot DXF files. And first let's import our topography, you open and there's our typography. So I'm not going to change anything…
