Inserting decals
- [Instructor] Hi everyone. In this lesson, we will be placing our product labels on our model. For us to place an image on a selected face, we simply need to head up to Insert, select Decal. For our target face, let's initially select the top face of our metal cap. Let's locate our image. Let me change this to Large Icon. For image types, Fusion 360 supports PNG, JPEG, and TIF. In this instance, we will be grabbing our cap logo, which is a PNG file. In addition, PNG and TIF files supports transparency. One way of knowing a file is transparent is, when you open it in Photoshop, that we grab our cap logo PNG, drag and drop to open this. When you open a file in Photoshop, you will see the background as a checkerboard. Heading back to Fusion. Let's re-grab our first label, selecting cap logo, opening this. Let's head to top view, grab our rotating handle, grab our planar handle, positioning this at the center. Let's grab the small arc, to resize it's scale, and now let's hit Okay. Let's…
