Mirroring and duplicating

- [Instructor] Now that we've gone ahead and finished both the seat stay and the chain stay for this bicycle frame, it's time to talk about creating the other side's chain stay and seat stay. This particular frame is a symmetrical frame, meaning that the stays are both identical on either side. So we can use the tool that we have in form, which is the symmetry tools, which allows us to mirror an object across a construction plane. Now if you remember in chapter one, I talked about how building the frame off of the origin is so important and you'll see why that's so important right now. When we go over here to the symmetry and come down to mirror, we'll select the seat stay and now very simply use this origin plane here and use that as our center line which will flip and make the appropriate stay on this side.
