Model outline offset

- [Tutor] One last thing we should add in before creating our CNC path is to make a surface offset around our model outline that roughly follows our topography sheets. And this geometry will allow our tool to safely cut the outside edge of our model without risking crashing into any excess stock material. The biggest place we risk crashing is at these low points of our model right here. So let's look at a few diagrams to understand the importance of these sheets before we make them. So the final tool cutting path we'll create is our contour outline of the entire site separating our model from any excess stock material. Here, we see a cross section of the lowest point on the site, as it should be milled right before we run that final cutout contour.
