- [Narrator] Hi, in this lesson we will explore the chamfer and fillet modifiers. Generally, the use of fillets and chamfers is to increase the structural integrity of our model. First, let's create a box. I am going to head up to create, going down and selecting box. Let's sketch on the XZ plane. Left click here. For our first corner, I will left click on this area, moving to the right. Left click. And, pull this arrow up, giving this box a height, and hit okay. Let's discover chamfer. So basically a chamfer applies a bevel to one or more edges. Let's head to modify and select chamfer. Now, we are prompted to select edges. Making sure that under select options, we have window selection. I am going to create a window selection. Release, in that instance we have selected all edges, move our arrow to give this a value.
