- [Instructor] Welcome back. In this lesson, we will discover the modify tools, starting off with the press, pull command, which modifies the selected geometry using offset, extrude or fill it commands. I have here the same exercise file from the previous lesson and to start, let's grab our circle command by hitting C, and my intent is to create a circle on our xy plane. So, I'm going to hover over our xy plane. Notice that our cursor prompts us that if we perform a left click, is we will be selecting this face. In order for us to select the xy plane, what we can do is to hold our left mouse button and a menu will appear and from here, we can select the nested items. So, our intent is to select the xy plane, left click. In addition, I want our circle to be midpoint on this surface and instead of directly creating our circle, I will hit L to create a line, so dropping it here up to this edge, left click.
