- [Voiceover] Hi everyone, in this lesson, we will discover Replace Face. But first, we're going to grab our Spline tool. Hitting S to grab our Model Toolbox, typing SP, selecting Spline. Let's select this face, our front face to sketch our spline. Left-click. Let's drop our first point here. Left-click, left-click here. Left-click and double left-click to end the spline chain. Selecting Stop Sketch. Our next intent is to extrude the spline as a surface. And to do that, we need to enter Patch workspace. Head up to Create, selecting Extrude. Let's select this profile. And I'd like the length of the surface to be the same with our box, so I'm going to change the extent to Object. Selecting this arrow, left-click, and selecting this face. So notice the error. To resolve this, all we have to do is change the Chain Faces to Extend. Hitting Okay. Let's change our workspace back to Model. Head to Modify and select Replace Face.
