- [Narrator] Now let's talk about actually cutting the mold itself. This is usually a pretty exciting section because you're now getting ready to start actually making parts. So I always kind of get excited for this. So let's talk about this mold here first. So here's our mold. You can see that we have basically this one section that is sticking out. So, you know, if we were to make this out of a four inch thick, five inch thick block, we'd have to machine all of this material out and that's a huge waste of material and I really dislike wasting material. So what I do in cases like this, is I actually make a custom stock. So let's turn that on, I built that here. So this is a custom stock that I built and this is just simply a two inch thick sheet that we had. And then I cut another two inch that sheet in this shape here so that I could link index it to the side or this corner. And then I glue these together and…
