- [Instructor] Now that the dropouts are roughly in place, we want to go ahead and take those dropouts and link them to the sketch that we had built in Chapter 1, so that it's exactly in the correct location of the sketch ones. And also, if that sketch changes, and we update any of the sketch dimensions, it would have connection to that dropout. So what we want to do is we want to use a feature called joint. Let's come over here in the menu bar, and let's select joint. And you basically have two components that you want to select. So let's turn around like this, and let's come into the dropout here and we'll select this one first. Now you see when you hover on a face, how all of these locations pop up, the endpoint, centers. The point that we want is this one right here. Now I was able to select it, but sometimes it can get tricky to select the right one.
