Positioning the table tray with joints

- [Narrator] Your keyboard tray can be positioned in any one of the side panel grooves. One consideration is whether or not we want the tray to be centered. For my design, I'm going to offset the tray to make room on the right side for a computer mouse or the use of an external track pad. Remember to activate the top level component before activating the joint command. I'll first select the lower right-hand corner of the board. This will allow us to select the inside of any one of the slots on the right side. Keep in mind, the board will not be able to slide past the rounded edge. We simply apply that fillet, so it can be cut out with a round end mill. We can now determine how much room should be offset on the right side, providing ample space for a computer mouse. I'm going to use an offset of negative 9.25 inches. This means there will be eight and three quarter inches after we subtract the plywood thickness. We can…
