Preparing the Tool Library
- [Instructor] As we continue to prepare, it's important to take a moment to talk about tools in the tool library. You can access the tool library on the toolbar here under the manage panel. The tool library is essentially a catalog of all the tools you have available when you're creating cut operations. Right now we are looking at the local library which has no tools in it and I know we're going to need three different tools for this job. We're going to need two flat end mills and we're going to need a ball end mill. The nice thing is we have lots of samples that we can shop through. In the library list, anything in blue is going to be available to you during the creation of an operation. Anything that's not, will not be a visible. That's just a nice way to filter things out and make it easier when you're selecting the day to day operations. But for shopping to get started, the samples are a great place to…
