- [Instructor] Hi everyone, and welcome to another Fusion 360: Tips, Tricks, and Techniques. Today, we are going to discover the trim command. And for demonstration purposes, my intent here is to quickly recreate this sketch. Let's grab our rectangle command, hitting R, let's create a quick rectangle here. And to recreate this section, I'm going to create three vertical rectangles, and one here, and a one horizontal rectangle. Hitting escape. Let's zoom in to our new sketch. And this time would be the perfect time to grab our trim command. In addition, I want you to take note of the paint selection. Our intent here is to quickly trim out this line segments let's move up under modify and select trim. Typically, what we're going to do is hover over our segments. Notice it turns into red.
